My name is laurie. I am a single mother of 2 boys who recently turned 4 and 2. my ex husband left us and moved out of state taking the car with him, in the last year I have only recieved 200 dollars... I decided to make it on my own, determined... I am currently attending medical school to become a vet assistant... the state help pays my bills, and my child care, the problem i have run into is that my school and externship site is 30 min away, and yesterday my transmission blew out on the car I had purchased 8 months ago.... I dont plan on getting a nice new car, just some inexpensive one that can last me sometime to finish my schooling.... I am less than a month away from finishing and graduating... but until i can get the transportation, my school is put on hold. I did look ino public transportation. but it would take me 2 hours, and i would be unable to pick up my kids and drop them off in the time i need to with childcare... I search online to find some help somewhere, and ran across this.... I am a independent woman who is determined to make it on her own, but i do need help because i have no extra money to put in purchasing a car... even a 500 dollar car would be wonderful, I just need to finsih my school, that is what is important to me.
